The "Evensong Spa," developed by testani design troupe and CMD Architects, was selected as one of two winning projects in the commercial category of the 2007 Ceramic Tiles of Italy Design Competition.
The entranceway features a stunning circular maze-pattern created out of slate inspired Sant'Agostino floor tiles from the "Gemstone" collection and tiny white rock. This Italian tile collection also extends from the manicure and pedicure areas, to the men's and women's locker room floors, shower, steam room and whirlpool walls.

NeoCon World's Trade Fair, held from June 11-13, 2007 at the Chicago Merchandise Mart, marked the final stop on the spring tradeshow circuit for Ceramic Tiles of Italy. The state-of the-art exhibit, designed by Mitchell Mauk and his team, was part of the ASCTEX pavilion and featured the latest trendsetting tiles from Italy. The innovative space served as a resource center, offering visitors a wealth of educational materials and assorted company catalogs. |

With its signature red and white color scheme and sleek geometric design- the Ceramic Tiles of Italy exhibit at the AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in San Antonio, TX was a crowd favorite. Developed by Mauk Design, the oversized exhibit served a number of functions including an information point; a space for AIA accredited seminars and a showcase for new Italian tile introductions. |
